Uganda Visa Requirements

• All travelers to Uganda require a visa, except citizens of visa-exempt countries.
• Uganda issues e-visas online. Apply at the official Uganda e-Visa Portal.
• Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from date of entry.
• Visa types: Tourist, Transit, East Africa Tourist Visa (covers Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda).
• Required documents: passport copy, passport photo, yellow fever certificate, itinerary or hotel booking.
• Visa approval is sent by email; print and present on arrival.

East Africa Tourist Visa

• Allows multiple entry to Uganda, Kenya, and Rwanda for 90 days.
• Apply through the country of first entry.
• Fee: $100 USD (subject to change).

Travel Tips

• Apply for your visa at least 2-3 weeks before travel.
• Carry a yellow fever vaccination certificate (mandatory for entry).
• Keep a printed copy of your visa approval and supporting documents.
